The project team met with the winners of the “HOVORY” marathon, presented them with gifts, and once again reminded everyone: “Speaking up is power.”

How safety lessons take place in Lviv school

128 schools in Lviv have already joined the “HOVORY” project. Students are learning to talk about their feelings, recognize warning signs, and not stay silent when something feels “not OK.” The lessons take place through open discussion, role-playing, and practical exercises.

How it all began

The several months of preparation before the launch were especially intense: filming children for the online course, recording Chubchyk's voice with Ukrainian actor Oleh Pryhoda, and receiving our first superhero toys. All of this was done so that “HOVORY” could come to life and speak to children in a language they understand.

Training for educator

Principals and school safety coordinators from 128 schools in the Lviv community completed training — both offline and online — on the values and approach of the “HOVORY” project. The Child Dignity Center team presented specially developed educational materials designed to help schools build a safe, friendly, and trusting environment for children.
